The 'Birds are coming

Vintage Wings of Canada is proudly hosting the CF and RCMP - featuring the Snowbirds on Sunday, July 4th, 2010. Vintage Wings of Canada, an incredible asset for aviation enthusiasms in the National Capital Region, has a mission to "...restore, maintain and fly classic aircraft significant to the early history of powered flight". On July 4th they are opening their hangar doors to the public at the Gatineau Airport. This year's event is a salute to the troops and is dedicated to members of the Canadian Forces and RCMP.  Along with flights by their impressive collection of vintage aircraft, the Air Force's 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, "the Snowbirds", will be performing.  Aside from their Canada Day flypast, this will be their only performance in the Ottawa Region this summer, so don't miss out.

Stop by the Ottawa Flying Club booth, learn about flying yourself and ask about our October Fly Day event.
